Welcome to Bonphul Medsys' HBOT Blog

HBOT Chamber | Bonphul Medsys
India is a fairly early-adopter of technology. Okay, okay hold on...may be not of everything, but at least in some areas we would be among the first few in the developing world. Military technology or space technology, for instance. Or, say, information technology. I have a sneaking suspicion that we would not be too far behind in medical technology as well.

Therefore it is surprising that very few in India are even aware--what to talk of usage--about hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).

Bonphul Medsys is a 10-year old healthcare equipment sales & marketing company. For the last 10 years it was known as Respirotech Med Solutions and, as the name suggest, sold respiration products. This year, however, the company decided to widen the scope of it business and took on a larger identity: of being a medical system 'MedSys' provider. Therefore when it came to creating a new portfolio of products with which to do business, the choice was obvious: oxygen therapy. It was in part led by the company's 10 years of experience of selling respiration products. But it was also prompted by the wide application that oxygen therapy is enjoying across the world.

Bonphul Medys would distribute high-pressure 'hard' oxygen chambers made by the American company Tekna, but would also manufacture and sell its own low-pressure 'soft' chambers.

As a part of our outreach to the medical community, patients and the informed public, we have decided to start a blog on HBOT. This would feature an informal, chatty, easy-going style of writing that would seek to demystify what might seem like exotic technology, and bring the focus to the only thing that matter: intervention outcome.
